Tema 2
A new way of capitalism:

Given the automation of jobs and how we have a need for a basic income the “capitalist way” to do so is for companies to give a share of their ownership to government and society.

Companies start as private endeavours but once a company gets profits for over an specific number (say 0.001% of GDP) or it goes public then the shares system starts. Or maybe they’re allowed to be private indefinitely unless their profits are too large and their employees number is too low (something the government will determine). Companies that don’t enter the system pay a large corporate tax.

The shares of both the state and the people are non-voting, non-controlling. But they do get a share of the profits every month or year.

So let’s say a company gives 30% of its shares: 15% to government, 15% to society. People can decide to get up to a max. number of shares on that company (individuals decide) and the government gets its 15%. This overrides corporate taxes, companies no longer need to pay corporate tax, the government owns and gets 15% of the profits each cycle.

Governments can invest money on companies and give them loans if needed.

You, as a citizen have freedom to choose which shares you want to get. You can make your own selection or use a government-defined index fund. The profits of these companies will become your basic income. So the smarter you choose your shares the better your income will be.

The state will fund itself on the shares that they own from every company and grants from the Central Bank that creates new money (New money creation is limited by the economy growth of the past few years and projected growth of the next one). If the math fits, this should allow government to reduce taxes to individuals dramatically.

People will pay less taxes.
People will get a “basic income” from their shares on companies (besides the jobs that are available).
People get an allowance of shares and they decide on which companies they “invest”.

Companies start as 100% private but once they grow enough they become “shared” by the people.
Companies can automate and not worry about employment.
Companies get a boost

Government is funded through new money, their share on companies and minimal taxes.
Government is focused on making economy grow since it’ll raise its budget.
Government can help companies grow.
